God Loves You

If you don’t know that God loves you, let me tell you He does! He breathed His breath in you and imagined relationship with you from the very start of His creation. He loves you with the deepest love You could imagine. His love is like an ocean overflowing on you.

A Father’s Love

Creation

From the beginning of time, our Heavenly Father, the Creator God had it in mind to have relationship with Sons and Daughters. That’s you and me!

Fall

Adam and Eve, and consequently all of us, were deceived by the satan, and told we could have power and intimacy apart from God. The result of us choosing this independence is separation from relationship with the Father.

Redemption

2,000 years after this Fall from Relationship, Jesus, who was God in flesh, came to the earth to redeem the broken and hurting humanity and restore us to our God.

Death

After living on earth for 33 years, Jesus, the Messiah, was murdered at the hands of the religious and political leaders of the day. But it wasn’t that His life was taken from Him, He willingly laid it down for each of us. The Bible says that He became sin, though He knew no sin, but He did this so that we would become the righteousness of God! He died for our sin and our shame!

Burial

Jesus was buried by His friends in a tomb, and they thought all the hope of His kingdom was lost. Little did they know that Jesus was presently going to war against the satan in the depths of the earth. He was taking back the keys of hell and hades, and making the way for all of us to have Relationship with the Father.

Resurrection

After three days in the tomb, Jesus rose again, proving His power as the Son of God, and declaring eternal life, and the power of God, for anyone who calls on His name. Presently, Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father, praying and redeeming each one of us.

What’s Next?

We now have the choice: do we want this Relationship with our Father, the Creator God, or do we want to continue living for and from ourselves? Relationship with the Father is the singular thing that we were created for, so anything less than that will never satisfy our thirsty souls. Regardless of what your life has looked like in the past (really great or really evil) our Heavenly Father welcomes us Home with an eternal embrace.

If you want to have this relationship with God it’s really quite simple. The Bible says: “if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”. This means, if you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and believe in your heart that God really did raise Him from the dead, you are brought into Relationship with Him! You are no longer a sinner but a Saint! You’ve turned from your old lifestyle and have begun running straight into the Father’s arms. Welcome Home!

An amazing thing has happened and you are now equipped with the Holy Spirit (God’s Eternal Spirit) to live in power and grace. Ask Him to baptize you so you will receive His wonderful fruit (Ephesians 5:22-23) and gifts (1 Corinthians 12, 13, 14).
